Liberty USO Scores High with Volunteers
Many volunteers returned to a USO facility and/or helped with events in August after signing a COVID-19 waiver and completing center-specific reopening training to assist in maintaining health and safety standards. We conducted a survey to gather their feedback, and we’re happy to share the results. On a scale of 1 (not safe) to 5 (perfectly safe), volunteers rated Liberty USO a 4.5! Comments included:
“I felt very comfortable and safe.” “I am very comfortable volunteering at the center at this time. I did not choose 5 because nothing is PERFECT! Thank you!”
Thank you to all the volunteers who provided feedback by completing the Volunteer Operations Survey!
Volunteers who don’t feel comfortable returning to the center during this time of COVID-19 are encouraged to participate in virtual volunteer-oriented monthly events, including our Sips & Sweats Happy Hour, Trivia Night and Virtual Coffee. Hope to see you soon!
